The path to I in three days - intensive course in self-awareness

The relationship between our self, our self-image and our ideal Self is what determines what we in everyday language call self-esteem. High self-esteem leads to high adaptability, while low self-esteem causes rigid behaviours, a lack of flexibility that leads to difficulties in adapting our behaviour to other people's needs in certain situations. Our self-esteem is probably the single biggest parameter for how we feel, how well we function with other people and how we live our lives.

The development program The path to I is based on the theory The Human Element® (THE). The cornerstones of THE are openness, own choices, and self-awareness. Based on these, we will explore the following main areas:

Behaviours: How do I behave towards others and how do they behave towards me? What is the discrepancy between what I do and what I want to do, between what others do to me and what I want?

Feelings for others: How do I feel about others and how do I perceive others to feel about me? What is the discrepancy between what I feel and what I want to feel, between what I perceive others feel about me and what I want them to feel? How do my emotions affect my behaviours?

Feelings about myself: What feelings do I have about myself and how do I behave towards myself? How do my feelings about myself affect my feelings about others and how I think they feel about me? If I want to increase my self-esteem, what can I do?

I: We say we have behaviours, we have feelings, we have a self-image. Who or what is it that has all these feelings and behaviours? What really am I?

Methodology:

In The path to I we will use both verbal and non-verbal (physical) exercises, visualizations, psychometric instruments, and feedback. Shorter reviews of theories and models will take place in order to facilitate cognitive understanding and offer useful mental models for further exploration. Much of the work will take place in small groups, while exchange of experiences and reflections usually take place in large groups together with the supervisors.

Structure:

The course structure is 3 days in boarding form, i.e., 2 overnight stays. We start at 09.00 on the first day and ends at 16.00 on the third day. It will be long and intense days where we also take advantage of the evenings. You cannot expect to have time to do anything work-related during this process, so make sure you have prepared your workplace for this.

Price:

SEK 15,000 excluding VAT (board and accommodation are added).

The course is provided by Flow4Future in collaboration with licensed Human Element (LHEP®) trainers.
