The GDQ (the Group Development Questionnaire) is a research-based questionnaire based on Susan Wheelan's model the Integrated Model of Group Development (IMGD).

The GDQ questionnaire is used to map a team's stage of development, strengths, and areas for development. The basis is used for the analysis of group processes in order to design adapted interventions. The results of the mapping are presented in a report where the team's development is shown compared to standard data.

Group and team development often begins with a GDQ measurement to show the group's current status. During the process, additional measurements are then made to follow the group's development. The GDQ measurement and follow-up is always carried out by a GDQ-certified consultant.
